Submissions

EAI welcomes submissions for distribution consideration from artists with a demonstrated commitment to video art or digital media art. EAI distributes bodies of artists' works rather than individual titles, and we are able to include only a few new artists each year in the EAI collection. EAI's collection focuses on experimental media art; we do not distribute conventional documentaries or narrative features.

Please closely consult the EAI Online Catalogue in order to determine your work's suitability before submitting preview materials. EAI accepts submissions of single channel video art works, and also distributes other media art (e.g. CD-Rom, interactive DVD), often in the context of an artist's video work. EAI welcomes submissions from artists from diverse backgrounds. EAI is unable to consider preview submissions by artists whose works are already in distribution elsewhere.

EAI accepts previews of recently produced video works on DVD, preferably in NTSC standard. A resume and synopses of submitted works (on paper only) are essential. Please do not send original materials (e.g slides or master tapes) or large binders or folders, as submitted materials cannot be returned. EAI is unable to take responsibility for submitted materials.

Our preview panel meets periodically to review submissions. Due to the substantial number of submissions we receive, it is not possible to contact all submission applicants.

Submissions are accepted by mail only at the following address:
